Hello! There is currently a bill sitting in the Senate that *passed the House* on Feb. 5, 2020 that repeals the 2006 bill saying they need to prepay their pension. It’s HR 2382 aka the USPS Fairness Act sponsored by Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR4).

Email your senators asking them to vote yes on this bill. It will SAVE THE USPS. They might still need some money to get them by the short term, but this will save them in the long run.

The bill sat in the House for almost a YEAR (it was introduced April 29, 2019 and passed Feb. 5, 2020). We can’t let it sit in the Senate for that long. The USPS won’t survive that. Email your senators and urge them to save the usps.
