With news of the smear campaign against Dr. Fauci. It is long past due that we acknowledge Trump is deliberately spreading the virus. Many might ask why. One word: money. I will discuss 3 instances of attempted/successful profiting in this thread

The first is one that my followers are familiar with discovered by @QuarantinedLif1. This is #PPEGATE where he is sellling governementally owned #PPE to third parties linked to the @GOP and his donors. In the end the money indubitably gets to him (tho the

Based on public evidence @QuarantinedLif1 has implicated Blue Flame and Panthera. However there are likely more such as the Trump aid selling masks to navajo nation. These companies are all able to miraculously procure PPE in just days thx to Trump

The idea here is to keep PPE demand high (exacerbate pandemic, keep hospitals full, infect as many people as possible) and also to restrict supply. This is Economics 101. High D, Low S = higher price. Restricted supply fits with current documented shortages & seizing of PPE

However, there are 2 other instances where we can see a financial motive for spreading this pandemic. The first is in regards to Trumps miracle cure hydroxychloroquine. Why would he buy so much of a drug that was unproven for covid. The answer: he bet big that it would succeed and used whatever pressure he had in the federal government to rig the outcome for hydroxy success. In his mind if he let the pandemic spread, he would have enough..

Now the final instance is probably the most speculative part on my end but involves the drug remdesivir. Trump/the US gov bought up almost the worldâs supply of perhaps the most effective drug on the market. This is similar to his moves with hydoxy but he now has a proven effective drug. If he keeps hospitalizations and infections high, remdesivir demand will stay high. And if he owns the supply in the US, he could likely use GOP linked companies to distribute to hospitals and get his kickbacks. In this case as in PPE, there is no incentive to fight the pandemic.
Notice the sky high prices tag on remdesivir. 3200 for 6 doses. Seems as though the US government set the price here. So maybe there isnât a need for a middle man here. The Trump admin has directly done the price gouging again.
Regardless, the fact remains is that there is a financial incentive to keep hospitals full due to covid, to keep patients treated with remdesivir (and in some cases still with hydroxy) and for drs and nurses to burn thru restricted supplies of PPE such as N95 masks
Trump and his cronies are practically minting money off the pandemic right now. Things are good. They are getting rich. Why change the status quo? They are happy. He will likely sell to his cronies donors and buddies at a below or at market prices, who will then resell for profit. Kickbacks undoubtedly go back to him via donations or shell companies. I encourage all investigative journalists with the resources ( @Fahrenthold) to pursue this
