On February 12, the IU LOEN agency released a statement on this issue through the official Facebook page "We want to address the problem of people operating social media accounts under the guise of artists. We hope that people will not spoil artists through imitation."

The article warns people who impersonate / disguise themselves as idols & damage their image by masquerading / imitating. The background of this case is those who use IU's face to do harmful things & make money with IU's face,

they not only impersonate but steal the identity of the artist. Impersonation that we are talking about here is what makes fans confused which ones are the real IU accounts and which are not (fanpage, fanbase, ROLEPLAY!)

Of course it is prohibited because it can make the fans confused. Because things like this create problems in fandom. And for now, there is no problem in fandoms for the Roleplay account. Because it will be a big problem.

And secondly, the conclusions of the article and related cases: that IU & agency do not mind roleplayer, but objection to the site / account that IU IMPERSONATING for SCAM & make money from it, & spread FALSE INFO about her (IDENTITY STEPS)

this is the explanation of my dm with one of IU's big fanbase admin who talks about the different of impersonate and roleplay. IU's fanbase never scold or prohibits us from using IU's faceclaim in roleplay.
