Heart problems - Of 1,216 #COVID19 patients, 667 (55%) had abnormalities in their scan, & 1 in 7 participants had what researchers described as "severe abnormalities”. Similar even excluding if also excluding existing heart condition patients. https://www.newsweek.com/scans-reveal-heart-damage-over-half-covid-19-patients-study-1517293
2) mean age 62, & 70% male. 60% of the scans were performed in a critical care setting, such as an ICU unit or ER, while the others were carried out in general medicine settings, cardiology, respiratory, or COVID-19 wards. Some 54 percent of the patients had severe COVID-19.
3) After excluding 315 patients with pre-existing ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, or valvular heart disease, 901 patients were identified. 46% of these no heart disease patients still had abnormal ECG.
4) but about #COVID19 patients with MILD or MODERATE symptoms, and no pre existing coronary heart disease— how many of those still abnormal ECG? Okay let’s take a look:

📌Mild symptoms (no CHD): 51/146= ➡️35% abnormal ECG

📌Moderate symptoms (no CHD): 93/197= ➡️47% abnormal ECG
5) That said, there might have been symptoms that led doctors to perform an ECG. So we can’t for sure say that this is the regular overall prevalence of abnormal ECG among such Covid patients. But still troubling.
