i know i bitch a lot about this and i can't stop people from writing those kind of fics (nor am i trying to) but please understand that when you live around it your entire life you don't want it to be romanticized. it would be the same thing as me writing about school shooters

just change the name. call it godfather au if you really have to put italians in it. just don't call it mafia. and that's all for my ted talk <3
