Tonight's read: The Southern Book Club's Guide To Slaying Vampires. Can't wait to dive in!
Update: Got through five chapters last night. It's love. I love it. I need bedtime to be now so I can sink my teeth (pun SO intended) into this readery goodness.
Update 2: The Southern Book Club's Guide To Slaying Vampires is fast becoming my favourite read in YEARS. Not to sound like a broken record - but it needs to be bedtime already.
And the Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires is DONE. Such a great horror, especially because it does that glorious thing of melding the horrors of daily life with a supernatural horror. Tense, gory, must-look-away-but-can't, and yet it bounces along. SO GOOD.
