More teams need to know the rulebook inside & out

Here, Harbaugh instructs the entire Ravens special teams unit to hold all Bengals rushers so time expires before the punter leaves the end zone for a safety

Which teams know how to take advantage of the rules best & which don’t?
Announcers didn't even comment on this one for some reason, but very solid time wasting strategy here https://twitter.com/SharpFootball/status/1071983227924029440
Vrabel used the same trick on his former coach in last year’s playoffs
before half, the Saints have time for one shot at the end zone with a time out in their pocket.

The 49ers brilliantly tackle or hold every WR, drawing the penalty but ensuring they only allow a FG attempt.

backed up & wanting to take a safety, Belichick snaps the ball straight out of the end zone to not risk his punter dropping the snap, plus saves a second
here the Patriots line up a TE as the left tackle, but back the left guard off the line, allowing the TE to be eligible.

Harbaugh got a penalty.

Patriots got a first & goal.

Harbaugh called it “clear deception”

Brady said “maybe they should study the rulebook & figure it out”
I love these deceptive “eligible players lined up as offensive linemen” plays.

Two years after the Patriots did it to the Ravens, enraging Harbaugh, the Ravens used it similarly to perfection on a key third down in a Sunday night game in Pittsburgh.
