Ways to handle a panic attack with emetophobia ; thread
1) calm down, sit down, breath 8 second in 4 second out with your hand on your stomach take deep breaths
2) remember your feeling this way because of your panic attack/anxiety, you aren't even sick! It's just your phobia
3) don't think too much, if u think too much the feeling will get stronger and will make it bigger in ur mind, the feeling isn't even real!
4) remember your stomach knows better if it's sick than ur mind, ur stomach is build that way it keeps you safe from any sicknesses your mind not, so who are u gonna listen to?
5) look at the good ways of it! If you are sick it's with a reason! Your body needs it or else you will get more sick! And after u will feel a lot lot better!
6) don't overthink! I promise u it's not that worse as you think it is, u are the person who makes it scary! Its not a big deal I promise!
7) if ur sick remember, after u will get better!
8) during a panic attack keep saying this in ur mind "I'm not feeling this way, it's just my phobia"
10) if ur sick, drink ginger Tae it really helps with the sick feeling and u will feel a lot better afterwards!
11) listen to some music, and focus on the beat of it and follow the beat by tapping with your fingers, to distract you!
12) ur mind is a fool, and u aren't don't listen to fools only focus on the real, theres literally nothing to worry about!
Be real, think smart, why would you be sick? What have made u sick then? You can't ne sick out of nowhere, so don't worry!
