Good morning, some good news, water level at #ThreeGorgesDam is down 40cm since my last update. Flow rate out of the dam has increased substantially (29k cubic meter/second) which may cause some headaches downstream

Update from 7 hours ago, 18 centimeter drop in water level at #ThreeGorgesDam but outflow has increased approximately by 2000 cubic meters per second (appx 70000 cubic feet per second) & inflow is not provided

More water is on the way to Wuhan, making room for Chongqing water

Only 14cm drop in last 7 hours.... With one of the spill gates open since before dawn. Steady 31000 cubic meter per second discharge for several hours now.

Wonder how Chongqing is doing today

Wow, 68 centimeter rise behind #ThreeGorgesDam in the last 7 hours. Despite use of spill gates and 31k cubic meter per second discharge. Wuhan water level is also rising but still appx 2-3 meters from levee top
