🚨The Doctor 🚨

Whether it’s the Doctor, Doctor Who, the Oncoming Storm, the Timeless Child, Professor or Doctor Disco. They’re all the same person.

Here’s a thread about how the Doctor’s timeline flows and how each version fits. To help those who want to know a little more.
First Timeless Child)

The first known incarnation, of the person who would be called the Doctor, was found beneath a portal.

Her origin is completely unknown. She was taken to Gallifrey and raised there.
Second Timeless Child)

After falling from a great heigh this incarnation was born of their first known regeneration.

The child was experimented on and forced to regenerate into serveral more incarnations.
Third Timeless Child)

This incarnation was a result of a forced death and regeneration of the previous incarnation.
Fourth Timeless Child)

Mindbend Doctor)

These eight faces were seen during a mindbend contest with a future incarnation of the Doctor between Morbius. The Doctor later recalled seeing them during the mindbend after learning of her previous lives.

These faces may or may not exist.
PC Brendan)

A Matrix manifestation of the Doctor created by the Time Lords to cover up the Doctor’s origin story.

Brendan was an immortal Irish policeman little knowing of his true self. He was later included in the Doctor’s flashback line-up of Doctors.
Ruth Doctor)

Earliest known version of the Doctor that travelled in the police box style TARDIS.

She ran away from her past, the Division, and later used the chameleon arch to hide her identity. Once awoken she fought her bosses and went on the run again.
First Doctor)

The first incarnation of the Doctor, in his first regeneration cycle, after being forced into the cycle and having his past erased believing himself to be the original.

He was a giggly and joyful man hidden under a guise of a stern and serious gentleman.
First Doctor.2)

In unknown circumstances the First Doctor’s appearance briefly changed during an encounter with some of his future selves. His appearance reverted back when he was put back in his proper place in time.
First Doctor.3)

Due to time freezing while mid regeneration the Doctor’s face changed slightly during his final moments. According to his future self it was because he was “trying to hold [regeneration] back”.

It reverted back in time for him to change into his next self.
Second Doctor)

Born from the previous incarnation’s body wearing out, the second incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle was a much more childlike man hiding an intelligence identical to his previous self.

He was later put on trial and forced to regenerate.
Third Doctor)

Forced into an exile to Earth. The third incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle was a far harsher man with a soft spot for those he loved.
Fourth Doctor)

The fourth incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle was much sillier not unlike like his second incarnation. Underneath his playful jokey nature was a shouty persona used to bring down his enemies.
The Watcher)

Between his fourth and fifth incarnation was a manifestation of the Doctor. His nature is ambiguous and purpose unknown.

His service was assisting his fourth self into regenerating successfully. All thats known is that “he was the Doctor all the time”.
Fifth Doctor)

The fifth incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle was a much younger body.

He was charming and youthful, but that didn’t stop his more snappy and impatient side from coming through.
Sixth Doctor)

Born from his previous incarnation’s death, caused by poisoning, the sixth incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle was a much harsher man.

He had no patience for anyone below his intellect, but had a soft side for those he held dearly.
Seventh Doctor)

The seventh incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle.

A man who was one step ahead of his enemies. Held down by his years, but more cunning than his predecessors. Perhaps fitting that his demise was caused by a streetgang shooting and failed surgery.
Eighth Doctor)

The eighth incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle brought a romantic side to his personality that was rarely present before, but would last a while after.

The Time War started during his life. When he died he chose to regenerate into a warrior.
War Doctor)

The ninth incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle.

Riddled with guilt over his action. He eventually regenerated ending the war once and for all.
Tenth Doctor)

The eleventh incarnation of the Doctor’s first cycle. Shortly after his birth he had his hand cut off but it regrew being within 15 hrs of his regeneration. Later he was killed, but didn’t change as he regenerated into the hand. This wasted his twelfth incarnation.
The Meta-Crisis)

The Meta-Crisis Doctor grew from the Tenth Doctor’s hand after he regenerated into it. This manifestation had the appearance of the Tenth Doctor.
Eleventh Doctor)

The thirteenth and final incarnation of the Doctor’s first regeneration cycle was a much younger body.
