A popular concept among white nationalists is the "Day of the Rope." A planned and expected future event where all deemed 'race traitors' are hung in a mass lynching

Yesterday far-right groups demonstrated at the DĂĄil brandishing nooses
This group of 'race traitors' includes left-leaning journalists, politicians, and human rights activists. But what it's espeically intended for are women in interracial relationships
The concept comes from 'The Turner Diaries,' a white supremacist fantasy novel that envisions a white 'uprising' against a Jewish controlled world-order followed by a global race war and mass extermination of non-white people https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/09/how-the-turner-diaries-changed-white-nationalism/500039/
I'm sure the demonstrators would be upset at the insinuation they could be lumped in with this movement. But the fact is all major organisers have significant connections with people directly, openly involved.

Much more significant than O'Gorman's connection to Tatchell anyway.
I could go on and on and on detailing all the openly Neo-Nazi connections documented by various Irish anti-fascist researchers like @WSMIreland @TheBeaconIr @IrexitP and others.

How am I supposed to take those nooses as anything less than a threat against me and anyone like me?
The small group of dmeonstrators who stood against them were very brave and I fully commend @EamonnVIDF @LeahNiD and others involved https://twitter.com/fionapettit71/status/1281955041499381761
If you want to argue that it was an 'anti-paedophlia' demo don't bother as that's not a fiction I'll entertain

Far-right and right-libertarian groups are constantly accusing people they dislike of paedophilia while being absolutely ridden with paedophile apologetics themselves
Said there were too many Neo-Nazi connections to start listing off individually, but one I should have brought up was Justin Barrett being invited to a conference featuring the author of the Turner Diaries, William Pierce

They've likely met

https://www.irishtimes.com/news/far-right-rally-had-welcome-for-irish-no-activist-1.1098691
It's clear to anyone without ideological blinders this was an anti-LGBT rally, but to ensure there can't be any doubts here's a quote from Barrett's book arguring homosexuality is "consistent" with paedophilia

Tell me again how the nooses aren't a threat

This seems to be getting some attention from US accounts. You ought to know this was picked up and amplified by reactionary figures in your country including the @YAF, who have previously platformed the work of extremists in Ireland https://twitter.com/IrexitP/status/1282790235693355013
This won't be the last time the stunts of Ireland's far-right get a US propaganda boost. If journalists want to know what's going on here best to ask the people who've been documenting it:

@WSMIreland
@TheBeaconIrl
@IrexitP
@IzzyKamikaze
@EamonnVIDF
@LeahNiD
