Having a moment where I'm realizing this is just too much shit and knowing it is not mentally healthy.

Maybe I'm starting to regret this basement project. Not gonna lie I have no idea what I'm doing I just know I'm tearing the place apart.

Not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to pull a carpet up at 7:30 but that's out of the way. I just want the game room/office back at this point.

Hit some snags along the way of fixing up the game room but close to painting. Hopefully tomorrow. Had mold and rotted wood along the floor here and needed to rip it all out and replace it.

I really wanted to open up the ceiling and spray it all black but my ceiling is way too low. I got these black tiles instead. Tearing it all down was a good chance to do some wire maintenance though. I had so many dead wires leading to nothing. Had a whole trash bag full of them.

Good bye yellow walls. That color was on brand for my then website/animated stuff I was doing at the time. They were like the last remaining visible reminder I had of that site.

I also dropped an Ethernet cable/outlet down there. Drilled a hole in the living room floor & prayed

Made loads of progress down here. Been at it since 9am! Believe it or not I even made a sell box with a handful of games and books.

A lot of blood (literally), sweat (literally) and tears (...literally?) to redo the game room but it's finally (mostly) together. Never redid a room like this before & I learned lots of new things in the process. I'm really happy with how it has come together.
