I'm on a detective streak. Do I know anyone who knows about rights? I have a project in mind, I've ID'd the books' publishers but don't know how to identify who owns the copyright today, if it has lapsed and more importantly –how to get it/buy/negotiate. #Copyright #publishing

Any thoughts and help appreciated! The books were published between 1990-2006; published in the USA and the author is from the USA. The author has unfortunately passed away, they have an estate and have regained rights to 1 work, which they have made

available digitally to the public. The status of the other books is a mystery to me atm. As far as I'm aware there is no UK/EU publisher/distributor and copies must be ordered online from the USA into UK bookshops. #Copyright #publishing
