prayer and manifestation work in tandem with each other. y’all make my head hurt arguing over semantics
just because people are not praying to the same deity as you or they’re not getting on their knees and begging for salvation — it doesn’t meant that their spirituality is not as valid as yours.
but it does confuse me when certain Indigenous practices are devalued and it’s by people who follow organized religion without any discernment or reception to valid critiques of that.
i feel y’all missed the point on organized religion. it’s about community and sharing space for our individual faiths. i briefly grew up in the church so i experienced that. it’s not about trying to judge and persecute people for not following a book to the letter.
judging people in this way says more about your own attempt to be saved and right all the time than it does that person who’s being judged.
focusing on other’s transgressions also prevents people from looking in the mirror and evaluating themselves.

also y’all really think life is a running list of your own transgressions and someone is gonna be keeping tally of everything you did in 2012?
it’s gotta be deeper than that. because tbqh no two people truly follow the same exact path and faith no matter if they go to the same house of worship
i saw a post that said normalize having spiritual gifts and it brought me back to this thread. some people are hesitant about the word manifest because it makes them confront that divinity also exists within them.
