So now is the time where I do a thread about why Drag Race Thailand is the superior franchise.

Believe me I know this is a Very Poor timing but I have nothing better to do and there's nothing to eat.

So yeah, let's just get right into it, as problematic beauty youtubers say

Moving on:

1. They casted an openly trans woman on the very first season, Meannie Minaj, though she went home first. This wasn't just performative, they casted two more trans women in s2 that ended up on the top 3. Angele Anang is the very first trans woman to win Drag Race.

On the topic of Angele: she has THE BEST track record across ALL franchises. She won 5 main challenges, 1 runway challenge and one mini, and was in the bottom only twice. That's some legend shit if you ask me.

2. They crowned the first plus size queen on the first season too. Natalia Pliacam won 3 main challenges, 1 runway challenge, 1 mini and was in the bottom only once + she was part of a double shantay. Not to mention she's absolutely stunning and talented.

3. This is a double edged weapon, so take it as you will: the queens had up to four performance challenges in ONE episode. Sometimes they had to put together garments from scratch in a couple hours. And they delivered every single time

4. Vanda was the first Muslim queen to be casted

5. I think we should talk more about this, so I'm just slipping it in here

Okay another disclaimer before I go on: I just watched ep 1 of season 2. I'm just too emotionally attached to season 1

6. Pangina and Art Arya ACTUALLY care about the Queens. Pangina has recently collabed with universal music along with a bunch of drt queens to make a tribute of Chromatica songs. She's also done an event with Kandy Zyanice where they performed Rain On Me together+

Kandy is an Ariana Grande impersonator and the 1/3 of the top 3 of season 2. Yes, she is the other trans queen that made it besides Angele.

Art and Pangina have also sang Happy Birthday to Morrigan while she was making her exit. She got eliminated on her birthday.

7. Season 1 is so iconic they had:

- A double shantay

- A triple way lip sync

- A double sashay

IN THE SPAN OF THREE EPISODES.

THREE (3). EPISODES.

8. Amadiva was part of both the double sashay and the double shantay. She doesn't have the range, she IS the range.

(I do still think she should have not gone home in the double sashay, though.)

9. The Snatch Game IS THE BEST ACROSS ALL FRANCHISES. I'm not even kidding, if you watch the episodes on the link I left at the beginning, you'll laugh even if you don't get 99% of the puns. They were all hilarious.

Also, they had Britney and Gaga songs used for lip syncs, and they were amazing. The Queens never fail to deliver.

12. Art Arya always wears something different and bold. She never repeats an outfit. Her concepts are amazing and we definitely need to talk more about her (I'd provide receipts but it's 1 am and my storage is already crying so I'll leave that for the morning.)

13. The Queens are so fucking funny in and out of challenges.
