This classes determines the tone. According to conditions.

For example the letter " ก " or Ko Kai. Ko is the letter and Kai means chicken.

The letter "ก" or Ko Khai. Ko is the letter and khai means chicken.

It reads as "g".

ไก่ = gai = chicken

ไ (vocal ai) + ก (ko khai) + ่ (low pitch)

ก kokhai is middle class.

It reads as "kh".

ฃ ว ด = khuaat = bottle

ฃ (khokhuat) + ว (wowen) + ด (do dek) ฃ khokhuat is high class.

The letter "ค" or Kho Khwai.
It reads as "kh".

ควาย = khwai = buffalo

ค (khokhwai) + ว (wowen) + า (vowel a) + ย (yoyak)

ค is low class.

It reads as "kh".

The letter ฅ is rarely used in Thailand now. There are very few words that begin with the letter ฅ in the Thai dictionary.

Huruf "ฆ" atau Kho Ra Khang
Dibacanya jdi huruf "kh".

ระฆัง = Ra Khang = Bell

ร (ro rue) + ะ (vowel a) + ฆ (khorakhang) + ั (vowel a) + ง (ngongu)

ฆ kelasnya rendah.
