In The Force Awakens we are introduced to Finn and Rey. Two characters who are misfits but with a destiny. Finn ends up using Luke’s lightsaber multiple times and we believe he will be a Jedi. Finn is the lone black main Star Wars Character. The come The Last Jedi. 2/
In The Last Jedi, Finn is demoted to a side character on a useless quest and shunted aside for the benefit of Kylo Renn a literal white supremacist, who is given more humanity and depth that Finn who was a main character in the previous film. 3/
The Last Jedi, protrays Finn a person who escaped being a storm trooper as a coward who often has to be egged in by Poe and Rose. While white supremacist Kylo, a mass murderer maniac, is given reasons for his evil. 4/
People praise the women of the film to praise its purported progressiveness, but all the main women are white, minus Rose. Who is not too deeply explored and who at the end of the film gets all her bravery and guts attributed to a crush on Finn.
So a white supremacist who killed billions of people is promoted to main character and love interest while the previous co-lead of the Franchise, a black man who escaped slavery is shunted aside. The Last Jedi is a white supremacist film.
All the main powerful women in the film (Rose is a secondary) are white aristocrats. With the lone Asian woman, Rose, given a dumb crush on Finn, the other minority in the secondary character cast (he was demoted from co-lead). The last Jedi is a white supremacist film. 7/
