The Bradfield Party Irrigation Scheme is excruciatingly simple

With just one dam and one channel we will deliver x Sydney harbours to the Murray Darling system and put the Darling into perpetual flow

#buildthebradfield
With the dam at 350 meters above sea level we build a channel high in the valley (not the valley floor) keeping a slowl gravity fed flow, supplying Burdekin irrigators with gravity along the way saving millions in pumping costs
Further south, where the GDR is lower, we cross from the east to the west of the GDR at around the 300 MASL

Befored chasing levels all the way to St George and feed into the Darling
The Upper Burdekin averges 45,000 GL in its 3 flood months - we will harvest just 5% - sending 2,000 GL south to produce food

In a drought year this represents 30% increase for MDB irrigators

#buildthebradfield
It's up to the states to use their share of the water where they like

QLD can chose to use their water to create new irrigation areas or to grow their existing areas
NSW can choose to create new irrigation areas or to bolster their current irrigators by simply allowing the Bradfield water to flow through the SA thereby reducing the water that they need to release to SA

The second option greatly reduced stress in the Barmah Choke
Victoria access their water by simply releasing less water to SA and making more water available to irrigators

We strongly suggest the water is used upstream of the Barmah Choke to ease stress on it

Great outcomes for Goulburn R irrigators

@sheppartonnews @KyabramFreePres
SA get a guaranteed increase of 500 GL per year

Where NSW and Vic use their water has zero impact in SA - but a great impact on the Barmah Choke and Forest

@RiverlandNews
The channel will have the added benefit of producing hydro power at key level changes at infrustructure points
Introduced Species?

Yep, it's a problem to overcome

Level changes at hydro's will provide 100% up steam migration barriers - tick

Minor changes will make them 100% downstream

PS: Bloody Cane Toad has already got to St George and has only been stopped by frosty inland winters
We will hold a national design competition for man made waterholes along the 1,000 km route of the - building the best 200 - this will provide drought relief for our Native flora and fauna
Lastly

We build our first dam within a dam (upscaled permaculture) in the Hume to create

1. The largest man made swamp in the world - hugely productive natural enviro

2. Year round jobs in @UpperMurrayTour

Study, repeat all over Australia
It keeps getting better

If CO2 is your poison

The Bradfield Party Irrigation Scheme is your antidote

Of course it passes the pub test

It passes every test

#buildthebradfield
A great example of low pressure hydro

When banked up and all flows diverted thru these also act http://as.an  upstream migration barrier

Putting young adults in rural areas for a year will give them so much more than they can possibly learn in the class room

Great for regions too
