#AskiMemnu (Drama/Lowkey Thriller) - Adnan Ziyagil is a rich boomer w/ 2 kids &nephew (Behlul), after yrs of being alone he falls for Bihter. They marry& Behlul turns Bihters eye away from Adnan. The whole show becomes “will they get caught” as they sex it up around Adnans house

#BirAskHikayesi (Drama) -Korkut ends up searching for his bio family in TR after he suffers a life-threatening injury. He finds his sis & eventually mom, whos rich &has another son; he falls for Ceylan who works in his moms house. This show paved the way for shows like KS & FHVK

#AskYeniden (RomCom)- Zeynep leaves her disaproving fam to US w/ her husband &has a baby. The asshole doesnt want a so she comes back to TR. On she meets Fatih &they agree to fake a marriage. Its pure comedy all the way as they find their way into each others hearts for real

#MuhtesemYuzyil (historical drama)- Follows the story of Hurrem who is forced into a life of slavery/prostitution&sold to the Sultan Suleymans skank ass’s harem.She overcomes the grief of losing her own identity &becomes the iconic Hurrem Sultan&makes the rats in the palace pay

#GüneşiBeklerken (Drama)- Zeynep is forced by her mom to move to IST& live w/her moms friend whos the principal in an acclaimed school&gets Z into the school.She meets the school bully Kerem Sayer &they give us the best Enemies to Lovers & scenes that are re-used in current shows

#İlişkiDurumuKarışık (romcom)- Aysegul & Can end up marrying so A can keep living in her childhood home after her friends sell it to actor C who marries so he’s not labeled as a playboy. They deliver enemies to lovers in a extremely funny way, that so many romcoms now fail to do

#Kaçak (Mafia/Cop drama)- Follows the story of an ex-cop who worked undercover&killed the son of the big mafia boss.He fell for the mafia boss’s daughter &used her love for him to escape&hide. Now in the present,his life gets entangled w/ them again once again &his cover is blown

#No309 (Romcom)- Onur & Lale meet are setup for a blind-date meant to intially to be w/ other ppl but things get messed up&they have the date with each other instead.Onur has to marry to get his share of the company & Lale has to marry him bc they have sex&she gets pregnant

#FatmagülünSuçuNe (drama)- Follows the tragic Fatmagul overcomes as she is r-ped& left traumatized.We follow her story to justice as she makes all of the guilty people pay. A painful, powerful & all too realistic story told extremely well. She rose from the ashes she was left in

#KaraSevda (drama)- Soulmates from diff backgrounds cant help but being drawn together even w/ all life trows at them. Nihan forced to marry to save her fam, Kemal thinking she didnt love him. NihKem deliver the BEST angsty, romantic, fiery & painful moments in dizi history.

#LeylaİleMecnun (comedy)- Hilarious story about modern day romeo&juliet. In the series Mecnun meets different “Leylas” which he intially thinks is the Leyla meant for him, but theres lots of twists& turns on his journey, they poke fun at alot of cliches/tropes. Its on Netflix btw

#BeniBöyleSev (drama)- Aysem & Omer marry soon after falling in love but little do they realize the difficulties they will face as their story develops & we see theirs & others’ relationships progress with all its ups & downs.

#Aşk101 (drama)- Best turk netflix show, we follow the story narrated by Işik in the present about her & her 4 friends from the past. They become friends, make a plan to get two teachers into a relationship who would vote in their favor to keep them from being expelled.

#AVLU (Drama)- based off Wentworth follows the story of Deniz who is sent to prison bc she fought off her abusive spouse.She meets Azra & her group in the prison. We see loyalty, love, pain, angst& betrayel. Literally the most talented group of female actors in turkey & AzDen

#KiralikAşk (romcom)- One of the best recent romcoms, although the plot gets kinda skewed & boring after ep 45 or so, it had a great pair with hot chemistry (DefOm) & Iconic Koray

#Içerde (mafia)- 1 of the best of its genre from cinematography to acting. Story of brothers (Sarp+Mert) separated by mafia.
Sarp= uncover cop in the mafia to get revenge.
Mert=undercover mafia working police dept.

We deserved more scenes of the bros instead of a rushed finale

#GüzelKöylü (romcom)- Another romcom where I was literally dying laughing bc of Bunyamin. The show follows lead couple Gul & Cemal who meet after Gul finds her fiance cheated on her, she finds out her grandma is from a village & flees to go there w/ her sisters & meets Cemal.

#YasakElma (dramedy)- Follows the story of 2 sisters initially looking for a better life.Story shifts to Yildiz (thankfully bc I hated Zeyno) & Ender. Their lives in the high society of turkeys most elite its the best currently airing show & also has alot of comedy & EnYil

Ok this is a really old one but a good one. #PisYedili (teen dramedy)- A group of poor friends are made to go to the rich school once theres some chaos in their reg public school. Its extremely funny& wholesome. Also EDA ECE as Cimbom >>> a true classic

#KalpAtisi (drama)- One of the only doctor related shows I enjoyed watching. The first time I liked Oyku’s acting in something. Also I didnt care for the lead couple much (she was his student at 1 point ) i liked Eylul w/ Mehmet but i liked the plot& characters

#YilanlarinÖcü (drama)- A great köy dizi about two star-crossed lovers Fatma & Bayram who cant make it work& marry other people. This story has everything & alot of köy dizis now (Hercai/SAK etc) copy alot of stuff that was in this show. Also Hande Soral’s acting >>>

#KaçakGelinler (romcom)- 3 runaway brides meet at the airport. All running away from or To something.Although the show is about them finding true love, it becomes a story about the best romcom showing true friendships & girl power. We see (Sebnem/Kainat/Almilla) grow as people

#OHayatBenim (drama)- I think this is hands down the best drama. Its up to its knees with family & bio parent chaos & suspense.Add in shady siblings & a dash of love interests in a mansion and you’ve got it here. 10/10 Theres a reason why it was SO popular a few yrs ago

#SiyahInci (drama)- deserved more eps, the show was great besides Tolgahans drywall acting. If anything watch for the start of Hande’s growth as an actor & Berk Hakman delivering quality acting range. Classic love triagle,she marries the bad guy yada yada yada but would recommend

#UlanIstanbul (Comedy/Thriller)- A group of thiefs move into a house thinking they can hide from pissed off rich mafia ppl after them. They soon realize their landlord is none other than a cop & they form lie after lie to trick the whole neighbors into believing theyre a family

#KaraEkmek (crime/drama)- Asiye living a poor & harsh life gets the opportunity of a lifetime as fate (gets prego/bf wont marry/she stabs him&has to run)+brings her close to rich guy Çetin (gf ends up dead/missing),Asiye takes her place as his gf, chaos ensues & they fall in love

#HALKA (mafia/mystery)- THE best Mafia series ever to grace turkish television. Cannot recommend it enough & it deserved the lifespan of trash like cukur gets. I dont have enough words to describe how amazing it is or the synopsis without missing something, JUST WATCH IT

#VUSLAT (drama)- One of the most unique shows I’ve seen. Its got the basic lead couple but theres more to it& alot of hidden things you pick up as the ‘game’ / story develops. Would def recommend checking it out. Theres more to things that meet the eye, Also Kerem is hilarious

#KalkGidelin (comedy)- Follow the story of this family with all of their ups & downs in their small town. Seriously one of my favorite köy dizi’s & its still going (i need to catchup myself) but Şakir & Seyfettin make the show

#UfakTefekCinayetler (mystery)- Story about a group of 4 friends, 3 of them prank the 4th one with making up rumors she was w/ a teacher and the 4th gets expelled. 20yrs later shes back in their high society life wanting revenge. / Another great&unique series, would def recommend

#Çalikuşu (period drama)- Follows the story of Feride who was left to her aunts house after her mom died & her father left for the military. Shes called Çalikusu bc of her childlike humor/banter/actions. Shes in love with Kamram (her cousin ), but the story is lit

#Krem (drama/comedy)- Follows the story of a girl who isnt conventionally ‘pretty’ and is overweight. She uses a cream/krem to transform her outer appearance to catch a mans eye. We see her transform inside/out throughtout the series for real & learn to love herself first.
