A month and a half before #KharQamarMassacre, PTM held a mammoth rally in Miranshah. While Pakistani media did not cover it, social media users watched and shared it widely. It established PTM as the genuine voice of the people.
On 26th May, 2019, a group of local people in Datta khel, NW were protesting the manhandling of a woman during an army search operation. Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir were on their way to the peaceful protest.
