PART TWO: The Wes and Johnny storyline.

As Cara mentioned, Johnny had worked out a deal with Wes beforehand. Wes was the only MAJOR rival of Johnny on the cast, so in order for this to work in Johnny’s favor, let’s have this rivalry end and have them work together.
What’s in it for Wes? Well for starters, MAJOR screen time. Not only did he have his own confessionals, but Bananas and Wes got confessionals TOGETHER- something other duos like Nelson/Cory, Jordan/Tori, Jenna/Nany NEVER get.
Screen time isn’t the only thing. Anyone else find it strange that the trivia challenge that Wes won and ultimately led to him putting himself into elimination against Bananas- was the ONLY Challenge that was worth $5000 👀. Could be a coincidence... could be incentive.
And what better storyline would it be to have an “epic” battle between you and your arch nemesis? Wes even admits he went in pretty much for entertainment, whereas any other opponent of Johnny’s would have been fighting for their life to get a red skull.
Oh- but let’s remind the audience that this is Bananas 20th season and he has won 6 times. Because they reminded everyone when Ashley went down that she’s the richest person in Challenge history right? Or with Jordan that he’s won the past 3 season’s he’s been on? Right...
So Bananas Vs Wes... surely this has to be a head banger right? A hall brawl? Pole wrestle? It’s the biggest elimination?

Lol nah, let’s make it basically a game of luck where you have to find 3 batteries in a wall. Producers have full control over where each battery is placed.
But breaking that wall does take strength and skill! It’s almost as if Johnny had won another “epic” elimination that was JUST like this on Free Agents?! Oh wait...
So Bananas gets his red skull, Wes gets a season with plenty of air time, great storylines, potentially some cash incentives and an “epic” elimination battle. But the rigging for Bananas isn’t just with Wes & this elimination.
PART THREE: Suspicious Daily Challenge & Elimination Knowledge.

There is no denying that Bananas is a smart guy, with 20 seasons of Challenges under his belt that gives him an unmatched level of experience, but some things are definitely off.
Somehow- only Bananas noticed the flashing lights behind the foam in this challenge. This was not considered cheating. This was also the men’s double elimination episode, so had Bananas won he would have full control, which he ended up having anyways due to Wes winning.
While Bananas was praised for finding the blinking lights, in the Flag down mission multiple cast members were DQ’d because their smart strategy of teaming up was seen as cheating. Bananas somehow knew this strategy wasn’t going to fly, and was chosen for tribunal by the winners.
I also found it strange that they made Jordan compete in a pole wrestle against the largest guy? It almost seemed like the perfect way to guarantee that the man who’s won the last 3 seasons that he’s been on, would be out of Bananas way this time. 👀🙊
Once everyone had their red skulls, it would have made sense to try to take Bananas out of the game at that point. The only way to stop that is to guarantee he wins the challenge. Peep how Melissa- “falls” off her barrels here, giving Johnny an extra 3 points in the challenge. https://twitter.com/faghettii/status/1281336509937876992
Bananas himself didn’t even deny Melissa doing this- just wrote it off as “doesn’t matter” 🥴
Bananas also seemed to know what certain eliminations would be, like how he knew that the final elimination would be a hall brawl, giving him the chance to help his ally Jenny prepare for the final. https://twitter.com/BranRealityStan/status/1281583109943721984
Bananas answer for this is that it’s a staple for EVERY season? Well, Hall Brawl has only been used in 6/35 seasons. It wasn’t on Dirty 30, Vendettas, or Final Reckoning. And was used on War of the Worlds WEEKS after Bananas was sent home.
***SPOILERS BELOW***

PART FOUR: There was only supposed to be one Winner, and it was NOT Bananas.

This season was originally called Battle for Independence, with one winner taking home $1M, similar to Final Reckoning and War of the Worlds.
There were a few clues to this, such as TJ’s obvious voiceovers replacing Battle for Independence with Total Madness, and when Swaggy C was eliminated and said he’s said he didn’t win the $1M but hopes Bayleigh can win it. No mention of “a share of $1M” just one person winning.
