Picture this, you are a girl, who is dating another girl. She's kind of controlling and some of her friends told you that they think she's cheating. What would you do?
Probably not break up with her right? Wonder why?

Ever since actual wlw representation has begun showing up in all forms of media, lesbians have become the soft uwu angels of the LGBT world
The reason this is bad?
Have you ever thought the words "well why would she cheat? She's a lesbian! Lesbians dont do that!"

When was the last time you saw an abusive relationship that wasn't straight passing?
The problem with this is that without this negative representation, people start forgetting that ANYBODY can be a scumbag

I'm not saying that ALL lesbian representation should be negative, what I'm saying is that there should be more movies with atleast one negatively represented lesbian, just like with striaght people

The reason I'm specifying lesbians is because, non-lesbian wlw representation is still lacking in media, so doing this would only cause harm

Picture this, a wlw relationship with a woman and her lesbian girlfriend, the girlfriend becomes abusive and starts cheating on her with other girls. The movie follows them as their relationship turned to shit, and untill the main girl has a mental breakdown.

At which point her demisexual panromantic best friend (who has a secret crush on her) helps her escape the relationship. It's very dramatic with lots of crying and even police involved,

the movie ends with a kiss between the girl and her friend then cuts to years later when they have three beautiful children together.

So basically, more abusive lesbians in tv, for the baby gays ofc
