what kind of gifts did yall receive from ur parents for having good grades? i rly wanna know

ok well this took a turn because i thought it was like.. super common for kids to receive gifts or rewards for that stuff.

well what i’ve learned is, it’s clearly not common for parents to give gifts/rewards for good grades. still hard to wrap my brain around this tbh

also i think that a lot of people are taking this tweet and thinking something super expensive or extravagant. it could’ve been books or a new game or a special dinner.

anyway. this is muted now. appreciate the feedback. i see now through the responses that some ppl got things and some people didn’t. and that’s ok. thank u for responding anyway.

also to the ppl who’s parents were rude abt it i’m sorry. i know school isn’t easy for everyone. i know that sometimes it’s difficult. and reading those responses really hurt me. i wish i could hug u all.

omg WHAT ?? my mom & dad are getting me deans list gifts but it's always been tradition for them to reward me for good gifts so i thought it was normal
