Angela Martinez Gómez was 42 years old and was originally from Oaxaca, Mexico. She was a leader and loved by her family and community. Burger King exploited her for her labor until her final days. That& #39;s how companies like @BurgerKing and @McDonalds make billions of dollars. – bei Burger King

“Several workers walked out for safety on July 6, after learning of Angela’s death,” said a complaint filed with CAL/OSHA. “A worker shouldn’t have to die and workers shouldn’t have to strike to call attention to COVID safety at Burger King.”
