I’m a queer organizer of color fighting for a just transition from militarized fossil fuel apartheid. Today I was fired from @sunrisemvmt — in the midst of a union organizing campaign.
Solidarity with these pro-union workers in Kansas, Cambridge, & Philly. Thanks @GrimKim for bringing attention to progressive org unionization. From mgmt to rank-and-file, we need to step up labor standards for our own workers & co-workers. https://thebaffler.com/working-stiff/the-new-face-of-union-busting-kelly
I have withdrawn my charge against @sunrisemvmt with the NLRB. I believe my boss knew about my union activity, and that my firing was influenced by this fact.

In light of this withdrawal, I'm moving forward. Here's some last labor thoughts on this month. https://twitter.com/sunrisemvmt/status/1294116360579055621?s=20
To my colleagues @SunriseWorkers, who signed union cards and/or reached out to me- solidarity. btw I informed our organizing committee of my firing, receiving unanimous consent to go public.

A new 'union' account produced this response, it has stood alone for over a month.
