My name is Ja’Nisha Robinson, M.S. I graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi (SMTTT) with both a Bachelor’s of Science and a Master’s in counseling psychology. I have 3 years of experience working with different diagnoses such as:
schizophrenia, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, bipolar disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, depression and anxiety disorders, selective mutism, borderline personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder etc.
My theoretical orientations are: person centered and cognitive behavioral therapy. For the most part, I’m eclectic- meaning I pull from different theories based on the clients individual needs. I am trained in CBT & TFCBT. I hope this provides more insight about my experience.

Moral of the story: don’t ignore red flags. 🚩

Often times, we have so much love for/faith in others that we see their potential for what we think it could be, not realizing it’s not our reality to create. Have complete unwavering faith in your OWN potential... (continued)
but be weary putting faith in potential of others. You have the complete power to choose your life and your actions- but no power over anyone else’s decisions, actions or behavior. When someone shows you the kind of person they are - believe them. YES- people can change.
However, who’s to say that they will? You’re not required to stick around until they do. Save yourself love. Love you enough to know that if they wanted to- or were that kind of person- it would show in their actions.
I’ll post all my #allthingsmentalwithjacy posts under this thread. 💕🧠 The therapist everyone can relate to.
