No reason, they just saw the Hispanic name & froze all my accts but still haven’t asked my white husband for his ID. Fees I’ve incurred, as as well as having to put $$$ on my credit cards which I now have to pay off. Took 5 days to get my paycheck in the account. But they won’t answer WHY they felt the need after 16 yrs of doing business they froze my acct to verify citizenship/SSN./
This is very clearly #discrimination and this process of freezing accts then demanding you prove your ID is harmful to minorities & low income folks. What if I didn’t have my credit card? I’d have lost almost everything, and for no reason. Once I yelled and demanded answers, /
They quietly turned back on my acct but still will not tell me why or why they targeted the Mexican amongst the white names on the acct. I want answers. I want reimbursement of fees plus for making me cry and question if my country even wants me. This is not ok. Please RT/
