Like even if there is a rough water transit going on, you can still go swimming or boating, you just have to be safe.

I took another look at her chart because obviously a conjunction to Jupiter is not that big of an indicator of the dangers she so clearly faced.

Her natal Mercury and Sun are exactly conjunct at 22° Capricorn in her 8H sextiling Jupiter in Pisces.

Mercury rules her Virgo 5H representing her Virgo son and the Sun rules her Leo 4H. The 4H indicates the end of one's life. But also Mercury rules children and the Sun rules oneself.

So we see natal Jupiter conjunct tr. Neptune rx in Pisces in the 10H creating a watery d**th trap that "supports" dangerous [8H] conditions for the swimming pair [Mercury and the Sun].

Nothing in astrology is a d**th sentence, though. If both had been wearing vests, even with the astro of it all, it may have gone okay.

I am hopeful that we are getting to a place where astrology can be used to help in scenarios like this before someone has passed.
