Folks can’t even elitist properly. Rich people stay laughing at y’all. “Black Women in luxury” then you posting Zara. Insulting these women for no reason 😭😭😭😭
These luxury houses like Gucci design have tapped into designing trendy/basic shit for people who want to use them to flex on others. They peeped y’all. I’ll find the article that discusses the difference in luxury production then and now.
“Black women in luxury” and you’re posting tea? I personally feel insulted that wealth inequality is a global problem that affects BW disproportionately that basic things are a “luxury” to us to some of you.
Once again, I’m more invested in Black women living good lives however we see fit that doesn’t trample on others. We should be able to afford quality products clothes, cars, shoes, food, travel. None of that should be excessive
I’m not interested in celebrating some Bs luxury.
Luxury and opulence isn’t the goal for me. I want a great life and I don’t want to have to pay an arm and a tooth for it. I don’t want to have to exploit others for it. I don’t want to have to exclude others for it
So posting about luxury and opulence being the goal when folks were complaining about wealth inequality that a pandemic is really reflecting is just sus.
Celebrating the “luxury” industry is directly related to making it harder for people to get quality anything at a price that isn’t pushed by capitalism and elitism. It keeps getting harder and harder for us to have good things and y’all are celebrating these exclusions
