I do believe xy NOT attacking xxc, even after xxc stabbed him, says a lot.

You see it with sl. The second he went on to attack xy, he attacked back, no hesitation. But when xxc stabbed him he just stood there, taking it. It's not until xxc calls him "disgusting" that he attacks

So that should tell us that xy didn't really want to hurt xxc, it wasn't in his plans. Then again, he had 3 full years to do it. Xxc's guard was always down around him, xy had countless opportunities to hurt xxc, yet he never did

Xy probably (defintely) had plans to hurt xxc at first, so why didn't he?

One can argue that xy tricking xxc into killing those villagers was it, and it was, but it had a double purpose: get revenge on the ppl who had made fun of them

Just like Yueyang Chang and Baixue Temple

We're talking about a guy that didn't hesitate to slaughter entire sects, so we /know/ how vicious and evil he was, how he didn't hesitate to hurt others.

So... Why didn't he hurt xxc? Kill him? Torture him further?

Do y'all notice xy never hurt jgy either??? Jgy's guard was probably always up, but if xy really did "kill and torture for funzies", he could've easily done it with jgy as soon as he figured out how to properly use the tiger seal

But then again, jgy never really treated him badly. Sure, he used him for his own plans, but was never rude, so xy didn't really have a reason to go all stabby stabby on him.
