Running your own business, working for yourself etc is more stressful, time consuming etc than working for someone. It’s sad how some people who are employees & have a reliable salary to depend on, feel so victimized by the small freedoms that entrepreneurs have.

They make ignorant assumptions like:
“Must be nice to do things when you feel like it”

Entrepreneurs, self employed people etc work 24/7. Even when we are resting, we work otherwise everyone who works with us or for us doesn’t get paid. No bonuses to rely on etc

As entrepreneurs, freelancers etc we need people to be employed, have good jobs etc because we need customers to sell to & companies to work with. We understand the value of all careers. What is lacking is respect & understanding from those who are employed.

In summary. All career choices have their pros & cons. Lets respect eachothers choices instead of making it seem like one is better than the other. Entrepreneurs don’t complain about their struggles because we understand that we CHOSE this. Please don’t belittle our choice.

So when someone tries to tell me that nonesense I just respond with a
“That must be so stressful”

Sip my tea, and go back to minding my own business.

Even if you wanted to quit your hustle and get a job, it will be very hard to get hired. Corporate doesn’t like hiring entrepreneurs. They’ll say that you don’t have the relevant corporate experience to get hired.

Everyday is do or die for us.
