If âwhiteness is âinvisibleâ - hence the objection to âcolour-blindnessâ - then we have to be hyper-vigilant in our search for it at all times. If it could be lurking anywhere.
Its unfalsifiable in other words & is a recipe for fanaticism & concept creep.
âWhiteness is evilâ + âwhitenessâ is âinvisibleâ = recipe for complete & unadulterated fanaticism hence the mini-cultural revolution that is happening on both sides of the Atlantic.
If âwhitenessâ is âinvisibleâ its unfalsifiable but its this belief that leads devotees of the church of 3rd anti-racism to reject the principle of âcolour-blindness.â

Basic stuff this: if you normalise & celebrate the bypassing of the rule of law & due process - even for things you approve of - then expect a free-for-all where anyone potentially can join in, including the far-right, for acts of destruction that you don't approve of.
The difference between 2nd wave anti-racism & 3rd wave anti-racism is that the former views anti-black racism as evil (correct) whereas the latter goes one stage further & posits that âwhitenessâ - which is so loosely defined as to encompass potentially anything - itself is evil.
So we end up going from colour-blindness being viewed as anti-racist - âI have a dream todayâ - to colour-blindness being viewed as racist - âJustice and law-enforcement shouldn't be colourblind.â
One vision of anti-racism which is rooted in Christian universalism - there is neither Jew nor Greek for we are all one in Christ Jesus - & one vision which is rooted in post-Christian particularism - âstay in your lane!,â âdont appropriate from other cultures!â etc, etc etc
