How often have you seen people saying ‘Nicola, can you run the U.K. please’ recently?

The comparison of Sturgeon to Johnson is an extremely thick-minded one, lacking in critical thinking so I thought I’d look into this ‘comparison’.

• Johnson. Responsible for a G8 economy 1/7

•Sturgeon. Dependant upon and only marginally responsible for a small part of that economy. (Smaller than the West Midlands’)
Johnson has the burden of being responsible for the entire U.K. economy. All sturgeon has to do is rest on her laurels and take credit for anything 2/7

good that passively happens in Scotland as a result of the U.K. economy and Scottish business.

• Johnson. Responsible for foreign affairs.
•Sturgeon. No remit (despite going on expensive foreign jollies and giving our money to Pakistan)

• Johnson. Responsible for defence 3/7

• Sturgeon. No remit but campaigns against defence and refuses to acknowledge the honourable and sterling work of our servicemen and women.

• Johnson. Responsible for the health of the nation during pandemics.
• Sturgeon. Responsible for the health of a sub-nation (the 4/7

size of Yorkshire). Once again, Sturgeon has the luxury of waiting to see what the PM does before copying him, word for word.

For the ‘leader’ of a nation, sturgeon has a hell of an easy ride. Her job remit is considerably smaller than Johnson’s (doesn’t it make you 5/7

wonder what she does with all the free time?) and considerably easier. Look how much time she can dedicate to the daily Nippy Show - a free Party Political Broadcast for the SNP.

Sturgeon also doesn’t have a newborn and the after-effects of a life-threatening virus. 6/7

To put this in real context. Sturgeon’s job is the equivalent of this guy’s.

I’m not bigging up Johnson here. I’m saying that to suggest equivalence of the Mayor of Scotland to the PM is ridiculous and a symptom of Sturgeon’s propaganda machine. 7/7
