So we’ve had a rat in our street over the last few weeks. My neighbour, who is an Odd Sort, appears to have erected a Looney Tunes-esque trap in an attempt to foil it.

Best bit is that he has complained in the past about birds messing his garden and, as he has used seed as bait, his garden is full of sparrows, blackbirds, pigeons and starlings.

Asssume his next effort will be an anvil on a big spring.

He’s basically turned into Wile-e-Coyote
