Japan Sinks #1, holy shit Naoya Wada

i remember being so worried when they showed off the crybaby 1.5-looking screencaps back in march, the ep is full of amazing drawings so why on earth would somehow pick out the first ones

as advertised, they’re very lumpy, free-flowy, and geniunely expressive... every single mob character is a delight to watch even when they’re bleeding to death!

and don’t get me started on those clothing folds. the show’s rated TV-MA for a reason.

anyways kinda pointless making this thread without the screencaps but immedaitely give wada more supervision work after this show thanks
