I once worked as a part-time job for an art team that’s responsible for Iz*one / (G)-Idle / TAEMIN WANT / Chungha / WSJN etc... the set that appeared for 2-3 secs on the music video was made with detail and hardwork.
Ex: curtain & spider web

The curtain was made with a massive fabrics, actually there was no ornament on it but since the director wants it, the art team worked on that ornament the day right before they shoot the MV. It’s so tall its like three times Taemin’s height.

“The next thing that’s hella difficult is the spider web stage. It was in the middle of winter, but we had to connect a lot of threads evenly to a huge rod. After raising the rod, we tied it back and forth and cut it again with scissors to make a spider web....”

“Thanks to that, a cool scene came out of it. Taemin dance on that small space made from glass. I’m the one who’s scared because I thought he might slipped”

“This scene is quite a shame... that blue fabric is so so pretty but since they use a steam(?) it didn’t showed at all (...) the right picture is an image I save during the shot.”

“Not 3D, that’s a real snake. Coz it’s winter, an unni & I kept the snake warm in front of a fireplace. When I put it on Taemin I used gloves & cried inside. I subconciously made noise but Taemin didn’t even bat an eye..problem is it kept going to the floor & it cause many cuts.”

“Personally, the coolest set. The basic construction and space was made by some carpenters few days before then the art team came the next day to set the lighting and props. That that wood in the middle is a really really expensive dude.”

“Actually in that bathtub there were fabrics and warm water (but as the shooting began it went cold & I felt sorry for him), also rain was falling but the scene only appeared for a few seconds haha.....”

“Personally, a funny behind story is where the magnifying glasses supposed to go down one by one, on the right & left side there are people who hold that and lower it at their own timing. Probably shot that for six times.”

“Because I worked as the youngest of the art team... I don't contribute much, and I worked almost as a learner. But we really made those props one by one. That magnifier was made with mic props, we fixed it & paint it individually. We paint on the white floor too.”

And also, Taemin shot his album jacket pictures in the midst of mv shooting. He just shot it next to the mv set and OP thought it’d be use as photocard/instagram post but when the picture came out she’s very shocked of the outcome, bcs he shot it just somewhere around the stage.”

“Since the scale of the stage and art detail was well made, Taemin also did well on his acting and dance. MV shooting ended in just 3 days. Honestly the last shot was at the wedding hall, at dawn but we played rock paper scissor and left work early except an unnie who loses.”

“Art team has to work for all stages before d-day and also in the midst of shooting we keep on working for other stage, craziest thing is we also need to clean it all up...really...”

I guess that’s it it’s very interesting to know such behind stories in detail from someone who actually work in that field. Lots of people worked really hard behind the cameras, we often forget that & don’t know how to send our gratitude to them
