I'm going to be creating back to school bags this year. I know many families might in my city or around my complex might not have access to school supplies this upcoming year.

In theses bags

I will have the basic nessecities for starting off the school year. (Cont.)
I'm going to try to take care of a few parents back to school list. I want to include crayons, colored pencils, markers, two spiral notebooks, pencils, rulers, highlighters, tissues, glue sticks/glue bottles, a pack of index cards, a crayon box or pencil pouch, and scissors.
Also, I want to probably throw in a composition notebook and maybe a three ring binder. Honorable mention, I want to give a bookbag to each child, w. a face mask and a small bottle of hand sanitizer in the kit as well. I want to try to donate to at least 20 families.
I want clear a families school list.
I got more details to come as my plan unfolds.
I want to also include a small care kit inside of the back to school bag which would include, maybe two kid toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, socks, comb, barrettes, and small hair brush.
I watched and learned last year that many families don't even have access to basic nessecities (of course i knew that already) but to see and experience, and witness. I at least want to take some pressure of some women or families this school year.
I'll probably create a gofundme, or an Amazon wishlist, or both.
If anyone has any old paperback children's books they would like to donate, can you let me know or DM me.
I also want to include a reusable water bottle in the bag as well.
I've created an Amazon WishList to help with my Back to School Bags. I want to create 28 bags. 14 girls and 14 boys. If anyone would like to donate or contribute you can cashapp me: $dchanteo or you can choose an item to donate from the list. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/IWJGGABS1AA1?ref_=wl_share
Here's a little more about me and the reason why I'm doing what I'm doing.
Also, I will keep this thread updated with information and pictures as my plan moves forward.
