This is the village of 'Gate'. It is located within 10kms of Mouling National Park, Arunachal Pradesh. In 2017, we walked the 25kms to reach this village and the dwellers of this village said they wake up at 3am to the reach main road to catch the 9 am APSTC Sumo. 1/6

Crossed this bridge. Made of cable and wire, the image is of children from the village 'Gasheng'. The little one at the far back was 4yrs old in 2017. They were coming home for holidays from the town of Kaying, ~50km from her home village....5/6
... 'Gasheng' which has lands under 'Jhum Kethi' (Shifting Cultivation) and such clouds draped over their mountains. 6/6
These images show the struggle which some people go through to merely access medical and school facilities. The villagers here have access to only one Sumo during the day at 9am leaving from the main road to the nearest town which is ~60km away. 1/2
Sometimes these bridges are treacherous and during the monsoons make it a matter of life or death! Think that before Wowing at their craft! 2/2
