I cannot deal with Singaporeans that tell me “aiya indonesian, malay, same same la” when i tell them that I’m indonesian and not malay... like can u respect my ethnicity haha lol

sometimes i get so tired explaining to people that i’m just pure indonesian and we don’t go my race but by ethnicities, and most people won’t know what are the different ethnicities as well

most times i just say i’m chinese indo just to appease the other party that just wants an answer that can fit what they want to hear

also pisses me off when some Singaporeans tell me I don’t look indonesian just because I don’t look like the typical indonesian chinese. like bruhvv have u even properly gone to indo.
