We are entering the "post-innocence internet" era.
The majority of users understand anonymous discourse is now compromised.
Kind of like how you don& #39;t answer your phone now unless you recognize the number, because it is probably someone trying to trick you.

To be clear, I think this will actually be a positive thing. Bad actors will have less power when the majority of the population understands active disinformation exists. Almost like misinformation herd-immunity. We& #39;re not there yet, but it feels like we& #39;re moving that direction.
I also think sewing distrust between random internet users has been one of the goals of disinformation campaigns for a long time..
But they can& #39;t stop us from loving each other.
