I'm not sure if it's just me, but the only times I could find it wrong to put politics in fanart are if it's another user's character being depicted w/ beliefs the artist doesn't share or some sort of praise for Nazi/Extremist/Authoritarian stuff,

with that being said... [1/7]
If you find yourself pissed enough to comment disdain about the politics in a given piece of fanart & not b/c of flaws w/ the position, just scroll past the post b/c all you're communicating is "I want to keep the fandom pure" or that you get easily triggered over differences [2]
Especially if we're talking about characters owned by companies like Bandai, Saban, Hasbro, TPCI, etc. I have to wonder what you're trying to oppose, b/c neither of us own those properties, yet we're allowed to do quite a lot w/ them, and I mean A LOT [3]
For my part, yes some of my recent art has had #BLM #ACAB messages, like today's upload, you have to realize these are very important topics for reasons you should REALLY look into & I suggest starting w/ how police have responded to & escalated originally peaceful protests [4]
A lot of the art I make is stuff I'm either passionate about or interested in, sure some of it can get annoying or you might want to escape reality for a few minutes, ok fine, again, just scroll past me, but if you can't then please just stay on the side [5]
Plus, I would not be surprised if the same people commenting in the reply sections of BLM/ACAB-related fanart w/ the type of comment this thread is about, wouldn't be the ones willing to tell the M.A.P. community to stop be as creepy as they are [6]
My art, my right, as w/ any other artist on the site

Also, I hate twitter character limits, have a nice night and enjoy some jams, as a reward for making it to the end

[7]
Also, I would be happy to expand on my thoughts to anyone who replies to anywhere in this thread or DM's me [8]
