basically my take when it comes to "cancel culture" or whatever is that, in my case, with my brain that can handle the kinds of situations my brain can handle, i need to have a web of trust in place

and basically that web of trust is how i know about shit

(and how i know about shit that's not on the up and up)

you gotta pick the right people, an impossible problem, but it at least allows you to kinda be hypervigilant and also trusting of a small circle rather than having to manage that globally

it's not Everyone I Know, although obviously if someone comes directly to me about something I'm gonna take them personally

for me, i choose are folks who I know have seen shit, and who seem reliable and unlikely to produce conflict of their own

anyways my point of this thread is you shouldn't pick me as your moral guidance in that sense because i don't know shit.
