Chiyoko is a shrine maiden who's just trying to live a normal life in this sleepy town. she's awkward and lacks confidence, but she's also indispensable to the shrine as a whole

meanwhile Otoro is... a reporter. at least that's the cover story.

long days and nights of exposing corruption and dodging doom can be hard, but you know what's easy? having a crush on the cute lady who seems incredibly familiar

meanwhile Chiyoko's like ' pretty lady cooked me lunch I will now die for her'

their life together later on is honestly really domestic... Otoro uses a little scooter to take Chiyoko to work, they eat dinner together almost every night, all that good stuff. they're the first couple in Otoro's friend group to get married as well :>
