This isn’t really my “Brand” but the world could use some positivity right now.
I joined the fantasy football community as a writer. I felt like giving advice on Twitter was part of my “job”. This is where you learn how toxic the fantasy industry can be.

Tons of “You’re an idiot” from people who have done 1/10th the research you’ve done. I was glued to my phone arguing with the void. My brand new marriage began to suffer. I quit. Until I learned what this is really about. No one in this community really cares if you’re “right”.
It’s predominantly an outlet where cool people get to share common interests with other cool people. I switched from writing to podcasting because I realized all I really had to do was have fun, and it gave me a chance to spend time with some of my favorite people.
I often say the friends I was able to meet up with in Canton felt more like friends than some friends I’ve had for years. I stuck with fantasy and now free up one hour of my crazy life to record each week because it gives me a reason to hangout with some of the best people.
I owe a ton of thanks to a ton of people (the list could be endless, please take no offense) not for what they’ve done as pertains to fantasy but because they’ve been friends to look up to as a young man and dad. @ChrisAllenFFWX @JMicCheck @RekedFantasy @DBro_FFB @RyanMc23
@DynastyOuthouse @FFManBun @tacitassassin13 are some names that come to mind who I’m incredibly happy to have befriended. If you’re here to argue with trolls, as I was, you’ll be miserable. Make friends. Be kind. This community is awesome.
