First thing first, the most important one in skincare is,

🎨 Basic skincare routine
Make sure that our basic skincare routine works well on our skin and give no irritation. The basic steps of a skincare routine are a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer and a sunscreen.
1. Cleanser
A low ph cleanser that works well in removing impurities is a MUST! Limit your cleansing routine for only twice a day.

Here are some recommendations👇🏻
2. Moisturizer
A good moisturizer is the one that can lock the hydration on skin. Choose a non-comedogenic one and fragrance, alcohol & essential oil free especially those who have sensitive skin.
3. Sunscreen
Always put your sunscreen! Apply an adequate amount of sunscreen and make sure reapply every 2-3 hours for full protection. Skincare routine without sunscreen means nothing. All of your effort become useless.
You need a cleanser to remove the dirt, makeup, excess oil, dead skin cell and impurities on your face. Moisturizer will help the skin barrier functioning properly. And sunscreen helps prevent skin cancer and sun damages.

When our basic skincare routine is complete, then we can step up our skincare routine with brightening ingredients ✨
🎨 Brightening Ingredients
- Arbutin
- Kojic acid
- Niacinamide
- Vitamin c
- Licorice root extract
- Azelaic acid
and many more!
All these ingredients work by inhibit the melanin (pigment that give skin it's color) production. Excess melanin production can cause hyperpignentation. We can choose any of these ingredients that suit and works well on our skin.
🎨 Exfoliation
Another step to brighten your skin is to accelerate the skin regeneration process by regular exfoliation. You can choose either physical or chemical exfoliant.
🎨 Lastly, PATIENCE and CONSISTENCY IS KEY! And ALWAYS PUT ON YOUR SUNSCREEN! It can prevent further damage to your skin and also prevent your scars become darker.
