Pastor Stephen is a human rights activist who was brutally tortured by Ugandan gov't forces. They amputated 2 of his fingers. A Ugandan official said he will likely be killed by security agents if returned. http://bit.ly/pastorsteven
In 2018 Pastor Steven asked for asylum in the US. Since then, for over 18 months, he has been locked up by ICE.
Pastor Steven hasn’t been able to control his diabetes because ICE won’t give him food for a diabetic diet, changed his medication.

He’s now going blind, suffers numbness and tingling in his extremities, and has boils all over his body. Now, with a COVID-19 outbreak in his detention facility, he faces further life-threatening health risks.
NO ONE should be detained, ever. Pastor Stephen's story is just one of thousands of examples of why no type of detention should exist.
