So I& #39;ve written so much fluff about fusion at this point that I& #39;m starting to worry that someone reading is going to think or try something stupid.
Keeping this in mind, there& #39;s a lot of stuff i should probably say directly.

Okay, fusion talk, a (slow) thread
(1/?)
I figure people who like my fusionfluff are split up into dorks that

- Like it as a nice metaphor (like SU)
- Like sappy magic stories
- Are accepting part of what I write as part of my actual experiences

For the sake of this thread, lets assume I& #39;m drawing from experience.
Given that potentially dangerous third idea, I should clear some stuff up about my fusion-flavour before someone magicky tries to magically duct-tape themselves to their crush because of me.

-A fusion *is* a relationship. Most mechanics stem from this somehow, for example:
-All fusion is drift-fusion. Physical fusion is just a cute metaphor that stays in headspace and dreams

Makes sense, right? if a relationship exists in headspace (or heartspace if you& #39;re fluffy like me), then logically so should a fusion.
-A fusion doesn& #39;t involve any binding, tying, sticking, etc - It& #39;s just a magicky metaphor for your relationship, so don& #39;t add any!

if your fusion is sticky or addictive, introspect: are you clinging to magicky things bc you need something? is your relationship sticky??

So I hope that like, the lore I& #39;m laying down is at least interesting, even if I& #39;m scolding literally nobody
