1/ So much good stuff today. Here, a manual of @cdcgov guidelines for a flu pandemic from... 2017. So long ago! They don’t recommend the use of face masks “by well persons” except under “special, high-risk” circumstances during “severe pandemics” (aka the Spanish flu)...

2/ In fact, @cdcgov barely recommends mask use by ILL persons - this table tells the tale - the current epidemic falls somewhere between columns 1 and 2 (moderate and severe)...
