i think it's absolutely hilarious (read: racist) that ppl continue to grossly exaggerate bts's problems and lump them in with horrendous, terrible things so that people won't like them

bts have fucked up! they sure have! but they've also publicly apologized for a lot of it too

people on tumblr used to do this shit a lot, the number of times i saw BLOCK ME IF YOU LIKE: SNK, KILLING STALKING, BTS, HETALIA... like What is bts doing there next to fucking nazi propaganda and violent homophobic fetishism HUH?????? it's a repeat tactic

and that's not to downplay bts's list of bullshit! they've got a list and i don't blame anyone for not wanting to forgive them for anything on there. but folks like to present everything very over-exaggerated and paint them as things they're Really not. it's genuinely malicious

i don't know why people do this to bts specifically either when there are a lot of (kpop AND not) other artists who are pretty comparable in terms of bullshit, other than that bts are massively popular and foreigners. it's really disgusting and its been a problem for years
