bruh fsa and a lot of people involved w fsa are QUIETTT about what’s going on in the philippines

“caring” about the philippines or “involving our culture” doesn’t mean just calling each other ate/kuya/ading or just our food..

don’t get me wrong tho, i found my best friends + started dancing thru this org

buuut fsa really should not be called FILIPINO student association bc not enough members in it actually care about the philippines but das a conversation nobody wants to hear. i give anyways

not every filipino feels this way, but there are a lot of us who get introduced to fsa thinking we’re going to meet others that are interested in our culture or we’re expecting to learn more about our own culture. then we see what fsa offers and it’s like.

this is just a social club that happens to be called filipino student association

again this is a GREAT org to meet lifelong friends, make memories, n discover new talents. don’t get me wrong i love fsa for introducing me to my circle and getting me into new sports and dance. don’t come at me bc i know how special this org can be to many

but pls understand how some filipinos feel about an org branded with our culture, but w little regard to it and our mother land. this org as a whole just needs to.. either change it’s name or start taking action towards actually caring for and about our mother country :(
